My sketchmodel.

We were assigned to play wit boards and paper and come up with a defined space from it.

The space i designed could either be a room or an auditorium. It depends upon the scale.

Our final plate for one of my majors is to create a miniature version of chairs in certain periods. I got Byzantine and was tasked to make a miniature version of Maximian’s Throne.

Maximian’s Throne

Byzantine Period

This throne was dedicated to the Bishop of Ravenna, Maximanus. It is made entirely out of ivory and has a semi circular backrest. Its panels have rich carvings depicting the scenes of Christ’s miracles and childhood (back), Joseph’s life (armrests) and there are four evangelists (front of the base), with John the Baptist in the middle.

I altered a lot of things from the original photo just because I lack the colors used in the photo and because I found it boring. :))))))
